SOLAR ENERGY
Worried about rising power costs?
Make a difference while saving money with renewable energy.
Solar power is the conversion of energy from sunlight into electricity.
Sunlight captured by photovoltaic (PV) panels can be converted into electrical energy that can either be used to generate electricity or stored as energy in batteries.
On-Grid System
A grid-tied solar system is connected to the electrical power grid. The system electricity is generated from the solar panels and converted to usable AC energy. The electricity used by the property owner is fed directly from the inverter into the building, but if more electricity is being generated than is being consumed, the excess energy is sold back to the grid. This system eliminates the need for battery banks and allows you to pull electricity from the power grid if needed.
Off-Grid System
An off-grid system is completely independent of the electrical grid and is a great solution for remote locations and communities. The solar system works similar to the on-grid version however in this system the excess power produced is stored in a battery bank. When there is a need for more electricity than is currently being produced, the batteries kick in and provide additional power.
